• Power Stop Slotted Rotors

Power Stop Slotted Rotors run about 50 to 80 degrees cooler than OE rotors. While slotted rotors do not operate as cool as drilled rotors, they provide a nice cleaning action to wipe away friction debris. During normal brake operation friction dust and gas gets sandwiched between the pad and the rotor. This causes a reduction in the brake pad bite. Power Stop slotted rotors are the solution. Slotted rotors are perfect for the wet weather braking and heavy duty applications like hauling, towing, and fleet use. The silver zinc dichromate finish is highly resistant to corrosion.

• Power Stop Cross Drilled

Power Stop Cross Drilled rotors are engineered to keep your brakes cool. Air flows over and through the drilled holes to effectively dissipate heat and eliminate hot spots. The drilled holes are precision machined in our CNC machining centers. While driving f you have ever experienced pulsating brakes and shaking steering wheel, then a set of drilled rotors will solve your problem. Warped rotor are caused by excessive heat and the uneven deposition of friction (so when you stop, don't clamp your brakes on the rotor when it gets hot, try to keep the car rolling a little, or put it in park and release the brake pads). • Power Stop Cross Drilled and Slotted

These rotors not only look great, they offer a nice hybrid performance option that blends the cooling capability of drilled holes with the wiping action of the slots. The cross drilled and slotted rotor operated about 120 degrees cooler than stock rotors. Power Stop recommends cross drilled slotted rotors for the ultimate blend of high speed stopping power and dependable severe duty performance. The cross drilled and slotted rotor is the economic alternative to a big brake kit. Each rotor is coated with a silver zinc-dichromate finish to prevent corrosion and keep your ride looking new.
• Power Stop Nitro Rotors

Introducing Nitro Blast cryogenically treated rotors.

Power Stop has teamed up with 300 Below Inc., the founder of commercial cryogenic processing. Power Stop's Nitro Blast brake rotors are processed at 300 degrees below zero, and then heat treated to permanently improve the rotor's performance. The Nitro Blast rotor is highly resistant to abrasion. Independent lab tests show a 324% improvement in wear as compared to an OE replacement rotor. One of the key cryogenic attributes is the reduced risk of the rotor warping because the Nitro Blast cryogenic treatment stress relieved the rotor for the occasional track and auto-cross driver. Power Stop also recommends using the Nitro Blast slotted rotors and Extreme Truck & Tow severe duty disc pads for applications such as towing, hauling, fleets, and auto-cross and spirited street performance.
